Senior Visual Development Artist
Description
We at Moonbot are looking for a Senior Visual Development Artist who not only
exhibits stellar drawing, painting and visual development skills but
also has a history of phenomenal team leadership. This individual will
possess the ability to visualize a narrative and apply their skills to
all aspects of a story’s design. This artist will be tasked to oversee
and enhance projects in development in a creative and cogent manner for
different applications and media forms.
Skills/Abilities/Education:
- Experience leading and managing other artists and teams
- Experience leading in a 3D animation pipeline a must
- Ability to creatively manage the style and look of multiple projects
- Demonstrable portfolio of both traditional and digital drawing and painting
- Extensive experience with the Adobe Creative Suite programs or similar software
- Ability to create concepts and turnarounds for characters, and oversee their translation into 3D
- Ability to provide overall art direction from project to project with a wide variety of styles
- Ability to generate key images concept art for projects that give direction to other departments
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and motivate and manage art team to also meet their deadlines
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and to interact
successfully with other artists, technical colleagues and directors
- Self-managed and self-disciplined with the ability to take direction and constructive criticism and adapt accordingly
- Must be flexible. Moonbot Studios is a growing venture working in
cutting-edge and highly creative technologies. As with any mid-size
studio, members of the Moonbot team wear multiple hats. Our employees

- Must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States and willing to relocate to Shreveport, Louisiana.
