Job Summary:
We are
looking for a Mathematician skilled at probability, statistics and game player psychology
to join our Gaming Development team. The
person in this position creates the mathematical design and development of new
slot machine games. He/she will design
compelling math models and perform simulations to verify the accuracy of the
model. Applicants must have an ability
to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Abilities
·
Basic
programming skills in C++ and JAVA
·
Working
knowledge of probability theory and combinatorics
· Strong creativity and imagination skills and
an ability to explain the effect of mathematical models to non-mathematical
designers and to patiently listen and react to their concerns
·
Ability to
read, edit and adapt existing software
·
Understanding
of the psychology of game play
Professional Requirements
·
BS or BA in
Math, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science or related field and applicable
work experience
·
Develop math
models for slot machines and other casino gaming applications that provide
entertainment for players
·
Assist in
the design of fun, innovative math models for optimal player appeal
Required Technical Skills
·
Expertise in
all Microsoft Office products
· Utilize software tools to create and verify
math models
·
Experience
in statistical analysis
