Compositing Supervisors-RET
Description
CoSA VFX is looking for several Los Angeles-based COMPOSITING SUPERVISORS with a minimum of 5 years experience in TV and/or motion pictures, at least 2 years of which have been spent in a supervisory role. Start dates for this position will be open on a rolling basis.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nuke software
- Proven success working in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
- Efficient in implementing fast, effective solutions to production challenges
- Skillful in overseeing the development of look variations to provide multiple creative options
- Adept at providing articulate, helpful feedback to in-house artists
- Sharp organizational skills, able to engage in varied projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate effectively with the Production team to ensure client expectations are met
- Seasoned in reviewing shots for quality and consistency, including technical specifications, naming conventions and color space
- Savvy in interpreting client notes and facilitating rapid achievement of the client’s desired result
- Accomplished in establishing hero looks/sequence keys as well as building templates for use by multiple artists
- Able to interface effectively with off-site VFX supervisors, producers and clients, as needed
DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in After Effects a plus
- Familiarity with Nuke Studio desirable
- Working knowledge of Python, TCL and JavaScript highly desirable
