MediaLab is looking for a passionate and talented visual
effects artist with a focus on motion graphics work, both 2D and 3D. We are
looking for someone who loves to express themselves through creative visual
works, is always striving to produce exciting visual content, loves to help
others and is constantly evolving their portfolio with different styles that
appeal to a wide variety of audiences. We allow our artist a voice in the
process and expect everyone to participate in advancing more creative and
effective solutions for our customers.
Essential
Duties:
This position is responsible for creating photorealistic
renderings using a computer and industry standard software. The motion graphics
artist will prepare, plan, concept, layout and create motion graphic projects
in collaboration with other team members. To create compelling and enticing
projects, the motion graphic artist will consult with other artists,
pre-production and sales to understand project scope and objectives. Motion
graphics will be for video deliverables including corporate videos, eLearning, websites,
marketing demos, etc. Of utmost importance is to maintain and follow best
practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic
files. The motion graphic artist is expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge
about latest graphic design techniques, popular culture, advertising trends and
ensure compliance with company guidelines, deadlines and design standards. Understanding
of lighting, texturing, rendering, modeling, compositing, color, and image
editing is required. Knowledge and experience with alternate software tools
will also be considered. However, rapid transition to MediaLab toolsets,
workflows and pipeline is required.
