Description
Under supervision of the Director of
Education, directs and manages the administrative functions of the GAD Program
offered at Ex’pression College, ensuring compliance with school policies and
procedures. Oversees fiscal affairs, educational resources, student retention,
instructor placement and administration for the school. Acts as liaison with
other school departments on behalf of the program; may oversee student
administration activities and services, as appropriate to the individual
position.
DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages fiscal affairs of the program including budget
planning, expenditure and cost analysis, procedures for expense payments, and
financial projections; coordinates account reconciliation and financial
reporting activities; participates in the development of new projects and/or
programs; may prepare proposals for funding of equipment, remodeling, courses,
or other needs of the school.
Directly and administratively supervises unit employees
including initial approval of hiring decisions, performance appraisals,
scheduling, training, employee development, disciplinary actions, and conflict
mediation; determines staff salary levels; develops procedures and assigns work
tasks to improve efficiency.
Directs purchases and coordinates maintenance of school
equipment and facilities; supervises the execution of program record-keeping
systems; may direct the ordering of textbooks and desk copies for unit classes
according to faculty orders.
Directs and coordinates administrative functions and
enforces Ex’pression policy for the school in coordination with all associated
Ex’pression departments.
Directs the employment and hiring process for full-time and
part-time staff and faculty, may participate in faculty searches; directs
completion of forms and contract requests.
Researches, reports, analyzes, compiles, and/or completes
information for surveys and accreditation such as fiscal data, operational
expenses, salaries, student profiles/assessments, enrollments, student costs,
and/or curriculum; directs the information gathering from staff, students, and
faculty for changes in curricula or courses and submits schedule of classes to scheduling
office; manages the use of computerized information systems within the school.
Serves on various school or department policy-making
committees; participates directly in the formulation of school policy, ensuring
that the fiscal and personnel practices are in compliance with Ex’pression
regulations, policies, and appropriate laws.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the
Management Team.

community.
EDUCATION
and/or EXPERIENCE
Master's Degree in a Related Administrative,
Business, Liberal Arts, or Social Sciences Discipline.
One to three years
experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
