The SCAD illustration department teaches students to use
traditional and new media to illustrate concepts and characters that elevate
messages, add human dimension, and tell compelling stories. Join the team that
nurtures award-winning future illustrators as a part-time professor of
illustration at SCAD Atlanta.
This is your chance to work with talented students in a

Requirements:
- Terminal degree in illustration or related field
- College-level teaching experience preferred
- Published credentials, accolades and
industry recognition
- Proven leadership skills
- Ability to motivate students and faculty to think
creatively and critically
- Ability to work with students and faculty of diverse
backgrounds
- Extensive experience producing illustration in both traditional and
digital media
- Strong drawing skills
- Unique style, aesthetic, and viewpoint
- Ability to encourage experimentation and help students
generate work in a range of styles and media
- Knowledge of the history of illustration
