Software
Development Engineers (SDE) help build software that customers and fellow
employees love. SDEs not only code, design and test - as a 3DEXCITE SDE, you
will challenge peers and yourself to develop tools that exceed expectations.
Our software needs to be fast and scalable. We also depend on our SDE to dive
into new technologies and look to optimize and refactor so we can create
products with no limits in quality.
At
3DEXCITE, we approach development code differently -- we are a SCRUM
development team. We leverage enterprise application lifecycle management
tooling (Team Foundation Server) and continuous integration to examine and
validate large-scale software development and deployments. And as an SDE, you
partner with software developers in test (SDET) to create and code tests
concurrently.

Conducts
research and development in new and emerging technologies (including mobile/tablet
technologies)
·
Contributes
to the development of Creative Briefs, Storyboards and Concept Work
·
Participate
in design, design reviews, coding, code reviews, unit testing, and configuration/release
management
·
Participate
in the development of design specifications with other members of the software
development team
·
Collaborate
with Leadership to identify client needs and ensure congruence with Technical
Development capabilities including design and development of new products.
·
Create
necessary technical documentation in support of programming and design
activities such as release notes, code comments, use cases, and training
materials.
·
Assist
with the development and delivery of technical training on new applications
and application updates.
·
Show
proper utilization of industry standard design patterns
·
Perform
peer code and design reviews
·
Work
with the development engineering teams to automate testing
·
Requires
minimal supervision
·
Other
