SUMMARY OF POSITION
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a temporary
Recruiter / Sourcer to support WB Games / Monolith Productions. This position
will report to a Senior Recruiter and partner with them to create, develop and
execute employment search strategies. Ensure search strategies contain
components to identify top diverse talent. Maintain proactive sourcing
activities to ensure best available applicant pool is positioned prior to
positions being opened. The Recruiter will continuously partner with Senior
Recruiter, Hiring Managers and Group HR Reps to ensure most effective
recruitment support is provided and results in successful hires in targeted
time frames. The Recruiter will be expected to work on-site in Burbank, CA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform full scope recruitment efforts for all assigned positions.
Positions assigned may include, but are not limited to, a range
encompassing entry-level and some professional level roles.
- Execute recruitment and sourcing activities including, but not
limited to: direct sourcing; industry networking; Internet “posting”;
active resume database searches; employee referrals; and outreach to
appropriate trade and industry organizations.
- Enter, track and update all candidate correspondence in the
Applicant Tracking System (“Brass Ring”) as the sole system of record to
ensure accurate reporting on performance management, recruitment policy
compliance with EEOC/OFCCP regulations and company policies.
- Utilize established tools, processes and policies in managing:
candidate selection and interviews; preparing regular progress and status
reports to department and business unit managers; conducting effective “
kick-off” and service-level-agreement (SLA) meetings; preparing salary
justifications.
- Participate in developing proactive recruitment and succession
planning strategies in close collaboration with business unit senior
management and HR Partners.
- Partner with Senior Recruiter, HR Director and Compensation in
recommending new hire salary offers to client groups.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional training is
preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment or other related professional
service function required.
- Video game development recruitment experience is highly desired.
- Professional experience in both “in-house” and contingency and/or
agency recruitment firms desired.
- Experience with recruitment for technology-related sectors desired.
- Strong “customer service” orientation.
- Well connected and abreast of the latest trends in the games
industry
- Working knowledge of Affirmative Action and EEO/OFCCP guidelines on
employee selection and employee relations issues relative to the
recruitment process.
- Able to draft / create job descriptions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high volume recruitment activities.
- Demonstrated ability to execute full cycle level searches.
- Must be organized; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously,
and able to anticipate future business needs.
- Must have a strong business acumen.
- Detail oriented with excellent follow up skills.
- Must be able to analyze resumes and determine appropriate matches
for vacancies.
- Must be able to target and source potential candidates for
searches.
- Strong working knowledge with a company-wide recruitment applicant
tracking system, Internet, PeopleSoft, Workday, MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Able to learn new computer skills as required.
- Able to work independently, prioritize and handle pressure.
- Discreet; able to handle confidential information.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills – both verbal
and written.
