Production Runner
Description
General Summary
The Production Runner is responsible for fulfilling a variety of
production needs. They are required to respond on short notice and are
expected to follow through on all assigned tasks completely and
efficiently.
Essential Job Functions
- Provides clerical support such as restocking photocopiers with
paper, distribution of daily call sheets and lunch/dinner menus, and
assisting employees with questions or problems.
- Assists Production teams, Directors, Animators and crew when
necessary with supplies, departmental snacks, meeting preparation, etc.
- Assists the Production Buyer in all pick-ups as well as runs for
working meals, early morning pick-ups/late rides home and a variety of
essential production errands.
- Works with ADs on the shooting floor to ensure stages and walkways are properly maintained.
- Ensures various aspects of the shooting floor are maintained
including restocking specific stage supplies, updating shot-specific
scheduling boards on the stages and assisting as needed.
- Maintains fresh coffee in the kitchen.
- Empties garbage and recycling for various departments.
- Prepares departmental and company-wide parties, including clean-up.
- Meets expectation to provide assistance to various departments in short and long term projects.
- Tracks spending and maintains regular expense reports for accounting.
- Performs moderate physical lifting of items into and out of vehicle and within company facilities.
- Assists with miscellaneous tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is needed.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with a variety of people.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment with an emphasis on communication.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle various priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Basic phone, etiquette, and customer service skills.
- Computer skills.
- Oregon Driver’s License with clean accident & safe driving record.
- Access to a reliable vehicle for running errands.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
