Matte Painting Instructors - Online (Worldwide)

Description

Vancouver Animation School is looking for Matte Painters to add to its faculty.   We are looking for accomplished matte painting artists with the passion and drive to pass the torch of knowledge to the next generation of matte painters.

The Digital Matte Painting diploma program has been designed in collaboration with the Moving Picture Company (MPC) in Vancouver, Canada.

What you will be teaching:
Term 1: 2D Foundations (Still images)
Term 2: 3D Software Foundations for Matte Painters (Nuke, Maya, Photoshop)
Term 3: Advanced 2.5D Matte Painting
Term 4: Portfolio and Demo Reel development

Software requirements:
Fluent in Nuke, Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush, Mudbox

Qualifications:
Currently working in a studio or actively freelancing as a Matte Painting Artist
Feature Film experience/credits
Certificate or
Diploma or
Degree or
Supplemented by 24 months of occupational experience in the field of instruction
