Composite Artist

Description

The 2D composite artist is responsible for taking all character animation and combining it with final approved backgrounds. They are responsible for locking the final camera in place and ensuring that the composition of a shot is sound and that continuity is correct. They are also responsible for adding additional lighting to characters and/or backgrounds to express the proper mood of a sequence.

The composite artist additionally adds all 2D animated effects into shots and is responsible for the creation of additional digital effects in Harmony.

Candidates should be detail oriented, have a strong understanding of cinematography, have good problem solving skills, and take direction well. They will report directly to the Director on the show. Experience on episodic animation and/or motion design is a huge plus! Experience with Harmony is a plus as well.
