Pipeline Developer
Description
The Pipeline Developer creates and maintains tools throughout the studio’s production pipeline. As a Pipeline Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining pipeline scripts and tools used by all departments throughout the company. Taking initiative, creative thinking, and pragmatic problem solving skills are all required. You’ll be focused on supporting and executing the studio’s creative vision while ensuring project deadlines are met. The ability to focus on achieving long term goals for the department, while also making short term success is essential.
Skills/Abilities/Education:
2+ years CG industry experience including extensive experience in Maya and Nuke
Programming experience in Python is required and essential to job success
Programming experience in Qt/PySide and/or MEL is a plus
Experience with Linux command line and shell scripting
Experience with Git
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Experience with modeling, rigging, lighting, texture, compositing and motion graphics
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet required deadlines
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and to interact successfully and support effectively a team of artists
Must take initiative in handling assigned duties and additional tasks which will aid the function of the organization
