We are currently seeking a Feature Location Designer - 2D. The Feature Location Designer will provide Key and Background scene designs and colour styling in consultation with, and approval by, the Director according to the style of the production. In such a fast-paced environment with a large volume of production work on the go, the ideal candidates must be an organized team player who are capable of keeping track of all tasks and have a good sense of humor. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring key and layout location designs are suitable in function and form for the style required by the Director;
• Producing designs that must show strong understanding of perspective, proportion, balance, dimension and dynamism;
• Organizing and managing work and files efficiently;
• Other tasks and responsibilities as requested and for the completion of the project.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma at a recognized Animation school &/or equivalent experience;
• Comprehension and knowledge of general and/or classical animation, character animation and Flash;
• Experience in 3D Design is an asset;
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize;
• Effective and professional communication skills both verbal and written;
• Self motivated with demonstrated initiative;
• Thrive in a team based environment.
