User Interface (UI) Designer

Description

Concepting:

·       Aides concepting alongside Design, UEX, and Marketing teams to develop design & visualizations

·       Evaluates project requirements and proactively raise issues that might impact quality or deadlines

·       Ensures that internal deadlines, timetables and approval procedures are met

·       Organizes file management per prescribed process and maintain image resource files

Design:

• Designs user interfaces, graphics, concept sketches and storyboards
• Responsible for asset creation and production
• Performs photo retouching and enhancements as necessary
• Researches illustrations, photography or stock media
• Ensures layouts and design meet with brand standards
• Contributes to and maintains style guides/online design libraries to accompany final deliverables

Qualifications:

Fresh, creative thinker with excellent eye for design. An innovative self-starter, good-willed, and passionate, you offer an understanding of visual design, typography, composition and color theory. You have the following:

• Strong digital design portfolio
• Advanced command of design and layout applications (e.g. PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign) and HTML and CSS.
• Ability to utilize direction from Creative Director to generate multiple design scenarios
• Can managed multiple concurrent projects and efficiently organize and prioritize workload
• Passionate for learning latest design trends
• Creative problem solving skills that enable you seek unexpected, original and innovative ideas
• Meticulous attention to detail and orderly version control
• Familiar with the production process of optimizing graphics, compression, and image optimization
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude, a sense of humor and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multi-Media Design (or a related field)
