Carr
Engineering, Inc. is an engineering firm that specializes in determining the
causes, conditions, and circumstances of motor vehicle crashes.? Located
in Houston, Texas, we are looking for an individual to assist with the
collection, processing, and analysis of 3D vehicle and crash scene data in
order to support engineering calculations of crash energy, crash forces,
vehicle speeds, and vehicle pre-crash and post-crash motions.?
Deliverables include photo-realistic 3D crash animations.
Required Educational Background and Specific Software
Knowledge
o Bachelor
or Associate of Arts (Animation or Graphic Design)
o Fundamental
understanding of automotive technology and basic mechanical design
o Proficient
Autodesk 3ds Max software
o Proficient
with Adobe Photoshop software
o Working
knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD
o Adept
at working to scale with a high level of technical accuracy and precision
Required Skills and Interests
o Personal
passion for technical modeling (vehicles, machines, mechanical devices, etc.?)
o Ability
to perform to an extremely high standard in a high-pressure environment
o Excellent
verbal communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
o Demonstrated
time management skills to ensure non-negotiable project deadlines are met

Willingness to work overtime and non-conventional hours as required

Compensation
o Base
salary commensurate with background and experience
o Overtime
hours compensated at 1.?5 times the hourly equivalent of the base salary
