We are a passionate group of artists, engineers, designers and producers looking to innovate and push casino games to new heights of visual excellence and user end gaming experience.

Position Summary

We are looking for an upbeat, proactive 2D graphic designer/layout artist to join us in our pursuit of greatness. In this position, you will be part of a collaborative effort, with the possibility to lead a team of artists, to create visually stunning artwork that compliments, and enhances the design and cutting edge gameplay Ignite Studio is known for.

First Year Goals

-Create high quality artwork within a fast-paced development cycle without compromising quality. With an emphasis on graphic design.
-Develop and grow your skill-set to stay competitive and sharp.
-Get familiar with casino gaming and learn how artwork and gameplay translate to the core demographic.
-Mentor less experienced artists on the art team.

Required Qualifications

-Related degree or 5+ years of experience in the games industry
-Strong illustration, design and user interface skills
-Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite experience required
-Ability to sketch or draw (digital or traditional) concepts and ideas required
-Flexibility with various artistic styles required
-Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
-Deadline oriented

Preferred Qualifications

-Animation experience in After FX or Flash
-Casino gaming experience a plus
-Avid gamer that can connect with slots/casino core demographic
-1 to 2 years of project lead experience
-3D modelling/sculpting and animation skills
-A tech savvy, quick learner with strong communication skills that works well in a team environment
