Description
Job purpose
We are looking for an experienced and
enthusiastic animator to create and maintain character and prop animations and
assets to a high standard using Maya.
Duties and responsibilities

Create and maintain character and prop
animations and assets to a high standard using Maya.
·
Assist in rigging and other technical
aspects.
·
Proactively assist the Technical Artist
to improve animation art pipeline.
- Effectively document and communicate animation processes
and techniques when required.
Qualifications
• Advanced
knowledge of Maya and Photoshop.
• Ability
to work to a defined art style, within technical specifications.
• Good
aptitude for problem solving and self-starting with the ability to work with
minimal direction
• Ability
to work collaboratively with a team of mixed disciplines.
• Keep managers and any dependent team
members informed about the progress of work including any potential conflicts
or bottlenecks.
• Prior
games industry experience.

An aptitude for the production of high
quality highly stylized assets and hand painted textures in the creation of
immersive worlds.
•
A broad range of character/creature
animation skills, a very good understanding of animation principals and able to troubleshoot
and debug animation systems.
