Position Summary:
Serve as a support resource for faculty, researchers, and staff with the
creation and/or use of digital resources, including software, hardware, data,
multimedia, and collaboration tools, to support the educational goals of the
faculty, department, Steinhardt School, and University.
Qualifications/Required
Education: Bachelor's degree
Preferred Education:
MA in educational technology or media, instructional technology or related
field strongly preferred
Required Experience:
Min 3 years of professional work experience or the equivalent education and
years of work experience;

Required Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies,
certification, licenses, etc.): Knowledge of integrated AV systems, equipment,
and delivery models, multimedia, video, digital audio and high-end projection
systems;Designing graphical elements of web applications; Working with
Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphics development tools; Experience with
data visualization tools;Must be comfortable and competent working with the
following client-based operating systems: MAC OS and iOS, MS Windows;
Experience with one or more web content management systems, such as Wordpress,
Joomla, or Drupal; Experience providing formal instruction, preferably at the
college level;Experience collaborating with other information technology
professionals on joint projects;Strong written and oral communication skills,
and the ability to maintain high levels of creativity and quality; Ability to
be flexible in work assignments that may require changing priorities regularly;
Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet project deadlines, stay on
track, and communicate workflow obstacles;Ability to be proactive, take ownership
of assigned responsibilities, and work independently; Creative problem solving
abilities and initiatives.;Ability to work with all levels of employees across
the University and be able to effectively communicate to various key
constituencies.
