As our Team Lead User Interface Art (m/f), you will be responsible for managing our user interface department in both technical and personnel matters. You will work closely with our game designers and other artists to take responsibility for the design of our user interfaces, head-up displays, and webpages.

Your job:

• Manage, develop, and organize our user interface team in both technical and personnel matters
• Collaborate closely with our art director and lead artist to create a uniform style for our products
• Support and advise the game design and user experience departments
• Guide and instruct the user interface artists at all career levels, and lead meetings on development and feedback
• Develop and oversee in-house training programs and workshops
• Take responsibility for compiling reference materials and visual and technical style guides for all UI artists
• Take responsibility for the graphic design of menus, user interfaces, and screens for our products
• Develop and elaborate user interface designs, head-up displays, and webpages for new and ongoing game projects

Your profile:

• Completed degree or equivalent qualification in graphic design or media design
• Several years of in-depth professional experience as a manager in the field of design or as a user interface artist
• Outstanding communication skills and enthusiasm about working in a team
• Very well-versed in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Flash is advantageous
• Very good written and spoken English
• Experience in game development would be beneficial
• Experience in management of technical and personnel matters
