Technical Artist
Description
The Art Group at USC’s Institute for Creative Technologies, ICT, is
seeking a Tech Artist with a solid background in human characters,
environments, and their underlying pipelines for a temporary position.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years industry experience preferably
working with real-time digital characters. This is a temporary,
non-benefits eligible position that will be hired and payrolled through a temp agency.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Experience: 3 years
Minimum Field of Expertise: Maya, Mudbox and Photoshop.
Strong design aesthetic.
Must be able to meet deadlines, work with direction, work on multiple projects at same time.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics, Industrial Design,
Fine Arts, or equivalent with a strong background in anatomy, human
character design, modeling, textures, and proportion.
Preferred Experience: 3+ years’ experience in computer game creation or related field.
