As our Team Lead Vector Illustration (m/f) you will responsible for leading one of our vector illustration teams. Together with our Head of Art and our Senior and Lead Artists, you will ensure a consistent style in our products (game content and/or marketing material). Your tasks will also include the technical and personnel management of one of the vector illustration teams.

Your job:

• Take responsibility for the high quality design and production of in-game graphics and marketing materials, from the concept phase to vectorization and implementation in our products
• Take on the technical and personnel management of the vector illustration team and oversee its development; take responsibility for implementing graphics in one of our online games
• Work closely with the Head of Art and collaborate and communicate with other departments, including our project managers, game designers and product managers
• Give instruction, training and feedback to all the employees in the vector illustration team
• Coordinate time management, prioritization and deadlines with our project managers
• Develop and oversee in-house design concepts and further training programs

Your profile:

• A completed degree or apprenticeship in illustration, 2D animation or design
• Several years’ professional experience as a illustrator or in related artistic areas, preferably with some leadership experience
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Outstanding social skills
• Excellent communication skills and a highly team-oriented attitude
• Excellent organizational skills
• Some knowledge of marketing or initial experience in designing marketing materials is ideal
• Eagerness to learn about the latest trends, innovations and software
• Good written and spoken English
• Passion for gaming
