Recruiter – Stereo D Toronto
Job purpose:
The Recruiter is responsible for carrying out recruiting and
talent acquisition for Stereo D Toronto.
This includes managing recruiting efforts and implementing strategy to
source, select and hire talent for the studio.
This position reports to Stereo D’s Director of Human Resources.
Stereo D is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deluxe Entertainment Services, an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate recruiting efforts for roles in our
Toronto studio including artistic, production, technology and overhead support
roles.

Carry-out a strategic local Ontario effort to
source and recruit top artistic and non-artistic talent.
·
Oversee full cycle recruiting including
sourcing, managing interview process, extending offers and helping manage the
onboarding process for new hires.
·
Utilize Ontario job boards, social media,
referrals and networking to create a pipeline of talent for current and future
openings.
·
Administer school outreach including
coordinating school visits and studio tours, attending job fairs and career
days, and continuing to foster relationships with key university contacts.

Help establish process and procedure for talent
acquisition for our new office in Toronto.
Qualifications:
·
2-3 years recruiting experience, within a
creative environment/company.
·
Familiarity and strong contacts within the
Ontario creative talent pool including artists, key universities, creative
organizations and other affiliations.
·
Stereo conversion and visual effects knowledge
preferred but not required.
·
Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced and
developing start-up like environment.
·
Knowledge of Ontario labor laws and immigration
practices would be preferred but not required.
·
Professional and friendly demeanor with
candidates and internal team.
