Producer - 2D Animated Feature (Toon Boom)

We are currently seeking a Producer to oversee the production of an animated feature, starting asap! This includes all aspects of animation production from scripts, voice records, storyboards, animation and post-production through delivery. You must have working knowledge of Toon Boom production pipelines; additional experience with Maya workflows is a strong asset.

We require an extremely well-organized, collaborative and passionate team-player to join our team in this role, ensuring DHX Media's world class reputation and production values are maintained.

Responsibilities Include:

• Establishing production schedule, budget and all deliverables in collaboration with the Director of Production;
• Working closely with executives, clients, broadcasters and production crew to deliver on the creative vision of the series;
• Proactively seeking solutions to ensure milestones and deadlines are met;
• Acting as Hiring Manager, with the support of Human Resources;
• Inspiring, motivating and maximizing communication amongst the creative team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as Producer for television, with in-depth knowledge of both Toon Boom and 3D pipelines/workflow;
• Driven, innovative and solution focused;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Strong leadership skills, and the ability to work well with a diverse creative team.
