Description
Qualifications: Bachelor
or higher degree. Disciplines like Art, Science or Engineering involving
interactions between computer science and interactive digital entertainment are
preferred.
Previous industry experience in game design is required. The
ideal candidate would be a game designer with enough technical knowledge to
teach a broad range of subjects related to game development using game engines
(UDK or Unity3d) and/or scripting languages such as C# and JavaScript.
Experience in mobile or application development and 3D modeling tools is a
plus. A commitment to teaching excellence and scholarship is expected.
Responsibilities: Teaching
a combination of game design related courses within the undergraduate Game
Design programs. Other responsibilities include academic advising, undergraduate research advising,
curriculum development, institutional service and appropriate scholarly
activity.
