Pipeline TD

Pipeline TD (R&D tools) - contract, London

Skills:

- Minimum 2-3 years experience in development.

- A good understanding of Python, C++, Maya Mel scripting, Linux/Unix shell (BASH, CSH ...)

- Knowledge of the technical principles of compositing and 3d (colorspace, mathematics, geometry...)

- General technical problem-solving and troubleshooting.

This role will require you to:

- Report to the CTO.

- Work closely with department heads and the production team.

- Help develop and maintain BlueBolt's production pipeline tools.

- Provide day-to-day support to creative and production teams.

- Develop applications in and outside of Nuke and Maya. Using Python, c++, Bash and other application specific languages.

Desirable but not required:

- Bachelors Degree in computing/graphics related programming

- Experience in using 2d/3d applications in a production environment

- Experience in working in a SCRUM based development environment.

- Experience in Maya/Nuke API development

- Artist experience in VFX facility
