UI Artist

INTERFACE ARTIST

Idol Minds is looking for a highly motivated Interface Artist with traditional 2D illustration expertise and UI visual design experience.  The candidate should be able to demonstrate a variety of UI styles and will preferably have worked on a variety of games (especially mobile).

Responsibilities

• Create visually pleasing and highly polished graphics and UI elements 
• Work with the design team to conceptualize and implement the interface at the highest level of quality
• Apply and maintain a consistent art style throughout the entire project interface
• Take ownership of the interface pipeline and work with interface programmer to improve it
• Work with the art director to push visual quality of the UI
• Collaborate with the design to create an engaging user experience
• Create well composed promotional artwork

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in Photoshop, Illustrator or Flash
• Portfolio of game interfaces, 2D illustrations and graphic design examples
• Experience with Unity a huge plus
• Strong background in traditional 2D arts with an in-depth understanding of color and composition
• Solid problem solving ability
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated team player
