Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Our Drawing Bootcamp Course Director must prepare our future digital artists with the traditional skills they need to understand their art.  Through a series of rigorous assignments studying anatomy, proportion, perspective, composition, mass, and weight, students exercise the observational skills required for an array of positions in the Industry – including modeling, compositing, animation, lighting, and texture work.  Daily iterations will include figure studies with live models, animal anatomy studied at the zoo, drawing from still life displays, and the human skeletal and muscular system.

Professional experience must be demonstrated in a strong visual portfolio and extensive, related professional experience (film, television, games, media). Experience in higher education is a plus, but not necessarily required for the right candidate with commensurate experience.  All candidates should possess exceptional communication skills, leadership abilities, be proactive, and exhibit a high level of organization and attention to detail. 

Requirements:

A minimum of a baccalaureate degree earned in a relevant field from an accredited 4-year college, and at least four years professional experience is required.
