Digital Producer
Description
Overview:
Oversee the digital (CG) production aspect of the feature
film at a vendor studio. Be the
production point-person between the film and the vendor. Responsible for setting and delivering on a
weekly quota schedule, identifying and solving problems and keeping the
Producer and Paramount Pictures in sync with digital production progress.
Responsibilities:
Overall, aid in the execution of the Director’s
vision and be an important intermediary to the vendor facility, ensuring
creative quality, the management of production data and technical requirements.

During pre-production, help evaluate and assess
vendor facility – production management, technical pipeline, workflow and
talent.

Work with vendor to establish a weekly quota
schedule for the film – review and make changes with the vendor, as needed,
through delivery.

Lead efforts on complexity management throughout
the film, work closely with Director, Co-Director, Prod Designer, VFX
Supervisor and vendor facility to identify problematic areas and offer alternative
solutions during pre-production and production.

Set up and maintain asset and shot tracking
databases.

Track and manage notes on all assets and shots.

Schedule and manage all Director review
sessions, run the review room from a technical perspective.

Ensure technical requirements are being met at
vendor facility during production and when assets and shots are delivered.

Evaluate and assess change orders coming from
the vendor facility, offer suggestions for alternative methodologies to
minimize cost while achieving the creative desires.

Work closely with Director, Co-Director,
Producer, Associate Producer and vendor facility on production strategy,
including the prioritization of asset and story turnover, weekly inventory and
quota management at the vendor facility.

Establish and review vendor facility production
reports, pro-actively identify and communicate risk areas while offering
suggestions for mitigation.

Supplement vendor production reports with other
relevant data for internal use – issue report on periodic basis, as needed.

Help in scenario planning in the event of major
creative changes/delays and/or changes in production timelines or technical
requirements.
Qualifications:-
Minimum 10 years in progressive digital
production management roles on feature film(s).

Demonstrated ability to successfully schedule
and execute on digital aspects of feature films.

Thorough knowledge of industry-wide data and
asset management tracking tools and applications (i.e. Shotgun).

Prior experience working directly with creative
leadership and talent.

Prior experience working with a remote studio
and remote tools a plus.

Must be willing to travel abroad on an as-needed
basis.
