Graphics SW Engineer
Opportunity:
* Design and implementing new software features
* Solve difficult technical problems in hardware and software
* Instrument code and write benchmarks to analyze runtime performance
characteristics
* Isolate performance bottlenecks and identify optimization opportunities
* Debug and resolve software problems
* Make recommendations on the design of future graphics hardware and
instruction sets
* Write software to model algorithmic changes before they are implemented in
hardware
Required Skills:
* Have Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
* Have at least 2 years software development experience
* Have complete proficiency and comfort in the C and C++ programming languages
* Experience with graphics programming libraries such as OpenGL and DirectX
* Demonstrate understanding of multi-threaded and parallel programming concepts
* Demonstrate excellent English communication and presentation skills
* Have recent experience with hands on engineering
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Be passionate about advanced graphics and ray tracing
* Have experience with driver-level software
* Understand state of the art techniques in game rendering and / or production
rendering
* Have some familiarity with GPU architectures
* Have exposure to hardware design processes and methodologies
