Entertainment, a wholly owned studio of SEGA, is
the award winning RTS developer of Homeworld,
Dawn of War and Company of Heroes, among other games. Relic was founded on

What
you will be doing:
The Marketing Artist will be responsible
for the composition, design, and production of key marketing assets such as
screenshots, web banners, promotional ads and other marketing materials. The
main scope of the job is to use campaign materials (such as key art and logos
etc.) to create consistent and high quality marketing collateral that will
resonate with our customers and follows the brand style guide. The job requires
a well-rounded artist with attention to detail who is able to work in a
fast-paced environment. You must be capable of prioritizing a range of projects
working across a variety of creative formats (from web design to print ads).
The ideal
candidate should have a portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of high
quality eye-catching work. You must be able to work from a brief and happy to
iterate on designs that meet the product and business needs (using market /
consumer research and live customer data) and, above all, that will excite
customers.
- Work with the studio Brand Team to design and deliver high-caliber
visual designs and promotional assets that deliver on marketing goals
- Support cinematic Artist in capturing gameplay footage and composing
compelling screenshots
- Manage the delivery of key art and campaign materials to SEGA offices
- Provide creative feedback on marketing advertising materials developed
outside of the studio
- Manage a studio asset schedule and coordinate with key internal
stakeholders
What
you should have:
- 3+
years’ professional experience (agency or client side)
- Design
experience in digital and print formats
- A
diploma or degree in graphic design or related discipline
- Innate
sense of design composition
- Highly
motivated individual who can work in both teams and independently
- A
passion for video games
- Proficiency
in a variety of design tools, such as InDesign / Photoshop / Illustrator and
ideally Flash / HTML 5
- A
strong understanding of and experience with responsive design/development
principles (from desktop to mobile)
- Knowledge of public API's like Facebook/Twitter
etc.
