Storage Systems Administrator

Join a driven team that architects, implements and supports all aspects of Oriental DreamWork’s leading-edge
technology infrastructure. This position requires an individual to provide administration, capacity planning and
performance analysis for the storage systems infrastructure at the company.

Duties and Responsibilities 
• Administer and maintain a large multi-tier storage infrastructure. Which includes deploying, configuring
and monitoring storage subsystems and services across the organization.
• Responsible for responding and resolving trouble tickets raised through our ticketing system, particularly
regarding storage issues
• Help in architecting, testing and deploying new storage hardware and services
• Develop and maintain stand-alone tools/scripts in Perl or Python to help maintain our storage
infrastructure
• Participate in off-hours on-call rotation, and occasional weekend Preventive-Maintenance work.
• Work collaboratively with teams located in the US.

Desired Skills 
• 5+ years experience working with Tier 1 NAS & SAN storage servers from NetApp, EMC Isilon or
BlueArc/HDS
• Deep understanding in configuring NFS & CIFS storage protocols
• Performance testing and evaluation of new storage servers and help in identifying storage bottlenecks
• Programming/scripting knowledge in either Perl, Python or Shell
• Good communications skills and work ethic.

Optional Skills 
• Experience with solutions like GlusterFS, ZFS and OpenSource storage solutions
• Experience in mixed OS environments (Unix, Windows & Mac)
• Performance Tuning and Debugging skills
• Having worked in a Animation, VFX or similar industry
