Mid Level Nuke Paint Artist

For Goodness Sake is a progressive feminist start-up in San Francisco working to break down taboos in women's sex education. We're looking for a mid-level painter who has extensive experience using Photoshop to create photo-real skin textures, capturing its unique movements. You will be working closely with compositors to provide them photorealistic reference images.

Requirements:

Extensive understanding of photoshop and its tools.

Experience creating photo-real textures for film, animation, and games.

Thorough understanding of 2D painting packages.

Ability to collaborate closely with the art director and compositors to keep a consistent vision.

Willingness to work with a variety of colleagues, including those who are not versed in art.

Ability to deal with complex photorealistic image sequences.

Desirable:

Knowledge of compositing software such as Nuke, After Effects, and/or Fusion.

Knowledge of any type of "warp" tool in compositing software such as Nuke, After Effects, or Fusion.

This is a chance to have an ongoing, steady job that ends at 6pm (unlike the project-based studio life!)

Starting pay is between $3500 and $6000/month depending on experience and skill with pay reviews at 1 month and 3 months..
