Description

We are looking for a bold and distinctive graphic designer for our growing game studio in Barcelona

Your role within our Kingdom
Your work will consist, among other things, of producing graphics in various formats for the web, as well as animating banners, making themed backgrounds for King.com, and creating promotion emails for our games. Your source material will be the game graphics from our art directors, and you will usually work in close co-operation with them. You may be also required to create illustrations but the emphasis is on using the existing graphics in the best way possible. You are also responsible for ensuring that all material produced matches King.com’s graphical profile. You must enjoy working within a project group and be comfortable working at a fast pace. You must also be versatile and prepared to tackle many different kinds of tasks, everything from creative challenging work to mass production.

Skills to create thrills
We assume that you have several years of relevant professional experience, but people of extreme talent will always be considered.

• Very good knowledge of Photoshop, Flash and Illustrator
• A well-developed sense of color and composition
• A substantial interest in form and typography
• A portfolio showing your talent and flexibility
• Relevant education and/or work experience

Tasty bonus skills

• Experience in using 3D software
• Interest in games and an account on King.com

About the Barcelona Studio
The first Barcelona studio was created in the summer of 2012 to build casual games for web and mobile. We are housing two game studios and King Global Services Centre and still growing. Located centrally in sunny and friendly Barcelona it provides the perfect combination of the dynamic flexibility and rapid growth of a start-up with the security, stability and infrastructure of an industry leader. It is the home of our upcoming hit Papa Pear Saga with more hit games in the pipe!
