The Maps team is looking for a talented and passionate software engineer to contribute to the OS X Maps application. Our team is responsible for all apps and frameworks related to Maps on iOS and OS X. Maps is used by millions of customers, it's the best mapping program out there and we’re excited about taking it even further. Join us!

Description:
As a member of the OS X Maps team, you will extend Maps to take advantage of the desktop environment by implementing new and advanced features. You will also work with the greater Maps team to make MapKit and underlying frameworks work seamlessly on OS X. You will also collaborate with other teams on OS X and iOS to integrate Maps with the rest of the system.

Key Qualifications:
•Strong object-programming and design-oriented skills
•Experience at the application and user interface level
•Passion for product quality and attention to detail
•Excellent communication skills

Education:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree

Additional Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Cocoa development
- Deep knowledge of Objective C
- Good understanding of graphics technology
- Some ability with design tools for prototyping purposes
