UI/UX Artist

We’re looking for a brilliant UI/UX Artist to join our growing game studio.

Your role within our Kingdom
If you want to create amazing user experiences and entertainment for millions of players around the globe to enjoy on the go then this is the right job for you!
You will be working closely with a creative and highly competent game team in an agile environment to create interfaces that are flexible enough to evolve with the needs of a Live game. The role is very versatile and you should prepare to tackle many different kinds of tasks, ranging from creative challenges to mass production for a worldwide market. You’ll be creating visually appealing, user friendly, consistent and crisp user interface art assets (e.g. menus, buttons, icons and animation etc.) while having a great time!

Skills to create thrills
We assume that you have several years of relevant professional experience, but people of extreme talent will always be considered. You probably have knowledge of and an interest in usability and freemium best-practices as they relate to interface design and, you must enjoy working within a project group and be comfortable working in an agile environment at a fast pace. Other skills include:

• Expert in user interface design and animation
• Expertise with Photoshop, Flash and Illustrator
• A well-developed sense of color and composition
• A substantial interest in form and typography
• A portfolio showing your talent and flexibility
• Relevant education and/or work experience
• An excellent teamplayer with great communication and organization skills
• Versatile and prepared to tackle many different kinds of tasks, ranging from creative challenges to mass production

Previous experience in social games and/or Games as a Service

About the Barcelona Studio
The first Barcelona studio was created in the summer of 2012 to build casual games for web and mobile. We are housing two game studios and King Global Services Centre and still growing.
