As Lead 3D Art (m/f) you will be tasked with leading our 3D department in both technical and supervisory matters. You will be jointly responsible for maintaining the consistent style of our products and creating reference materials as well as style guides to serve as orientation for our 3D artists.

Your Job:

• Lead the 3D art team in technical and supervisory matters and oversee its development
• Coordinate and schedule the 3D department’s workflow
• Visual development and drafting of new and existing game projects in collaboration with the other leads
• Responsibility for the creation of high quality characters, vehicles, environments and other graphic elements for our products
• Responsibility for the compilation of reference materials and visual and technical style guides for all 3D artists
• Implement concept artworks and your own ideas
• Give instruction and feedback to 3D artists at all career levels
• Work closely with our Art Director and Senior Lead Artist
• Time management, prioritize and coordinate deadlines
• Develop and preside over in-house design concepts and further training programs

Your Profile:

• Completed degree or equivalent training in the field of graphic design, ideally with 3D art as a focus
• Several years sound professional experience as a lead or 3D artist
• Excellent communication skills and enthusiastic attitude towards teamwork
• Extensive experience in modeling, animation and rendering
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Autodesk Maya or other 3D-programs (e.g. 3ds Max)
• Structured, result-oriented working approach, tailored to each individual project
• Experience in explaining technical skills and information, e.g. in workshops
• Very good social and communication skills
• Very good written and spoken English
• Passion for developing online games
• A valid work and residence permit is required prior to commencement of employment
