Technical Sales

Technical Sales:

            RFX, the leading software solution provider for the visual effects industry, is looking for a sales individual with strong technical skills and industry experience.  The position combines technical knowledge, sales skills, and customer service to provide advice on a range of products for clients in film, gaming, television and advertising. Technical sales is a key point of contact for clients, both pre-and-post sales.

Job Functions:

  • Develop new sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts

  • Provide ongoing sales and technical insight with existing accounts
  • Coordinate vendor relationships to ensure up to date product knowledge, marketing and pricing
  • Administrate client software maintenance renewals
  • Maintain client database
  • Meet sales goals and coordinate projects
  • Support industry marketing events and activities
  • Liaise with other members of sales team, and other departments
  • Keep updated with latest technology and products

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience in the visual effect industry

  • Demonstrate creativity in a dynamic industry with a rapidly changing customer base

  • Self-motivated with a proven track record

  • Organized and analytical; able to eliminate sales and technical obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches

  • Must have strong cost and sales analysis skills

  • Strong written and presentation skills and able to communicate professionally

  • Must be a team player

 

 

Required Experience:

  • College degree or equivalent post-high school education or experience.

  • Visual Effects background required

  • Prior production experience a plus
