Back-end PHP Developer

Gameloft, the largest mobile-gaming development studio in Montreal, is seeking a Back-end PHP Developer to join its E-Commerce team.

Gameloft creates games for all digital platforms, including mobile phones, smartphones and tablets (including Apple® iOS and Android® devices), set-top boxes and connected TVs. Founded in 1999 and a top innovator in its field, Gameloft distributes its games in over 100 countries.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will be in charge of developing, fixing and maintaining systems allowing us to distribute our games. Working with teams around the world, the candidate must have good communication skills and be able to manage several projects at the same time.
 
Skills and Profile

Requirements:
•    University degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
•    At least 3 years’ experience in programming
•    Excellent programming skills to produce optimized code
•    Good knowledge of databases (MySQL)
•    Good communication and organizational skills
•    Able to work quickly and under pressure

Assets:
•    Good knowledge of web technologies such as Javascript/Ajax/xhtml/CSS
•    Experience with SOAP, Json and web services in general
•    Experience with mobile technology (SMS, OTA, Android, etc.)
•    Experience in the video game industry
•    Fluent in verbal and written French and English
