Chair of Sequential Art
Description
SCAD made history as the first
institution to offer both undergraduate and graduate degrees in sequential art,
and is home to the only M.F.A. sequential art program in the country. Be part
of the storyline as the chair of sequential art at SCAD
Savannah.
Responsibilities:
- Teach five classes annually in sequential art
- Manage day-to-day administration of the academic department
- Develop curriculum
- Assess program outcomes
- Foster interdepartmental collaboration
- Create educational partnerships with leading companies, organizations and
designers
- Enhance the reputation of the SCAD sequential art
program in academic and professional circles
Requirements:
- Terminal degree or equivalent in sequential art or a related field
- Publication credits
- Three or more years of recognized industry experience
- Strong portfolio of related professional work
- College-level teaching experience is preferred
