UI Digital Asset Graphic Artist

Description

PerBlue is looking for a talented UI Digital Asset Graphic Artist to join our team. We make mobile games for iOS and Android, played by millions of people all around the world, and we’re looking for someone to fill a hybrid role involving designing mobile user interfaces and producing related art assets. We are looking for an artist who will draw buttons, borders, shiny bits and other UI genius. Wireframing, iconography and typography are passions for the right candidate. The right candidate has an eye for composition and how a person interacts with a mobile application.

Perblue is an independent game development studio based in Madison, WI with a team of 25 amazingly talented people. We've been named Madison's Favorite Tech Startup by the Isthmus, one of the Top 100 Startups in the US by Empact, and one of the Top 10 Game Developers to Watch by PocketGamer.

In this role, you will:

• Design and draw the interface and graphical design elements of our games.
• Create graphic assets for UI and other in game uses as well as marketing graphics as needed.
• Design, wireframe, and produce assets for mobile and web UI.

You will need:

• Passion and vision for creating effective user experiences and graphics.
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Experience designing UI components of mobile applications or websites.
• Experience with game design preferred.
• Experience working closely with developers, content managers and marketers.
• An eye for branding.
• A strong portfolio - please include links to your work, preferably live websites and mobile apps.

This is a full-time position working in our office in Madison, WI. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
