Job Summary: 

We are looking for a talented developer who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and dedicated to writing quality code. The position will work on both Java and Ruby web apps along with our Golden Tee player Android application. They will work with our marketing department to implement new features on our websites/apps and with our MIS team to setup and monitor systems.

Abilities

·    Exhibit strong problem solving skills

·    Exercise great communication skills, as well as be organized and helpful

·    Comfortable reading the code of others and mapping out system prior to coding

·    Integrate with an existing large scale database to deliver new features

Professional Requirements

·    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

·    At least 3 years of Java development

Required Technical Skills

·    Strong object oriented programming skills

·    Experience working with medium to large size codebases

·    Experience writing code that accesses databases and manages resources correctly

·    Knowledge of HTTP, HTML and web best practices

Nice to Have Skills

·    Rails 3+

·    Spring 3+

·    Familiarity with Android development…big plus for those with a shipped app

·    Experience with Javascript and jQuery framework

·    Exposure to Oracle DB and Pl/SQL
