SR. VISUAL DESIGNER #1669515 Joining the User Experience (UX) team at NVIDIA, you will be part of a highly collaborative group of HCI professionals with a passion for innovation and a strong desire to revolutionize the way millions of users interact with hardware, software and services. As a Visual Designer you will fill a pivotal role in the user interface development process, working within a team of Interaction Designers, User Researchers, and Software Engineers to translate wireframes and product requirements into cutting edge visual designs. Sharp designers with big ideas and great talent that understand the importance of integrating user research into the design process are best suited for this role. REQUIREMENTS: - Be a great visual designer - fast, creative, innovative, communicative and able to think on your feet in meetings. - Include your portfolio in your resume, or embed a link (no zip, no dropbox, etc) to be considered for this role. - Be a team player - collaborate with team members to create the best possible visual designs. - Demonstrable experience in user-centered design principals, conceptual design, tactical UI design and the software development process are required. - Enthusiasm for an iterative design process, driven by group critique. - Contribute positively to design discussions visually, verbally and in writing: * Visually - create sketches, wireframes, low/high-fidelity mockups, and final assets * Verbally - Provide constructive design commentary and evaluative critique * In Writing - produce clear, thorough visual guidelines for others to consume - Innate ability to consider and apply business goals to design work. - Deliver on time within rapid release cycles having a strong desire to ship products while multi-tasking. - Ability to design for desktop, web, enterprise and mobile platforms is key. - 3 - 5 years of industry experience. - Bachelors or equivalent degree in design, fine arts, or a related subject; a Master?s degree is preferred. - Be fluent in visual design tools including Adobe Creative Suite and Autodesk 3D Studio Max. - Be fluent in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
