NETWORK OPERATION ENGINER #1658401 NVIDIA Network Engineering is looking for a Network Operations Engineer to join its fast paced and results oriented team. Challenges include balancing operational responsibilities with some new project duties. If you have a primary skillset in Network Operations and have a passion for tackling tough troubleshooting problems, this job might be for you. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support day-to-day operations of NVIDIA networked services. - Maintain and monitor network, telecom, security and monitoring systems. - Improve existing monitoring and network maintenance tools. - Use advanced troubleshooting skills to identify application / server / networking issues - Provide technical support and collaborate with other teams to deliver exceptional service to all of our users - Operate candidly and with respect. Honestly accept failures and respond quickly to corrective actions. REQUIREMENTS: - BS Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work experience. - Minimum 4 years experience supporting network and telecom systems in an enterprise environment - Advanced experience with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and load balancers. - CCNP and/or other professional certifications. - Solid knowledge of SNMP, QoS, and OSPF. - Solid knowledge about TCP/IP, IP routing, VPN, Security, data center design. - Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Riverbed, Netscaler products. - Experience with HP Sitescope, BAC, and vu-gen synthetic monitoring tools - Experience with Orion, Nagios, Cacti, Statseeker and other network monitoring tools - Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups. - An experienced nose for troubleshooting. - Ability to translate operational issues into continuous improvement efforts in a persuasive and presentable format.
