SW QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER #1661482 This is an intermediate level QA position responsible for performing and developing quality assurance tests for NVidia GPU products. The successful candidate's responsibilities will include: RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and maintain manual and automated SWQA test processes - Tracking QA test results and production of detailed reports - Bug reporting and bug tracking - Performing interactive tests on products where automated tests do not exist - Enhancing and updating manual test procedures - Reviewing and correcting SWQA test methodologies via RCCA. TECHNICAL SKILLS - Detailed understanding of QA and software development processes - Experienced with API testing and test methods - Knowledge of 3D rendering principles applicable to Windows OS (DX, OGL) - In Depth Knowledge of all Windows operating systems (WinXP Win 8.1) - Familiar with Windows DEBUG setup & use (all versions) including remote access. - Strong skills in all Platforms with respect to Power Saving modes/features (ELPG, MSCG, ACPI Sx states) - Good basic knowledge of PC Architecture (CPU, PCI-E, SBIOS/ROM interactions) - Good familiarity with Notebook specific power modes/usage models - Familiarity with NVIDIA GPUs is strongly desired REQUIREMENTS: - Four year degree in (applied) Computer Science, Engineering or related field - 2 Years experience in software quality assurance or related field - Strong written and oral communication skills - Methodical and detail oriented - Excellent multi-tasking skills EOE
