Description
3D Character Artist
Robotoki is seeking an experienced character
artist to help bring the factions and survivors that populate our exciting open
world to life. Ideal candidate has at least 3+ years experience and one
or more shipped titles, is detail oriented, and has a feel for AAA next-gen
realistic art styles. All applicants

Responsibilities
·
Creation of low and high-resolution 3D character models, clothing, and
character related props
·
Using 3D scan data and preparing it for game integration
·
Complete understanding of modeling, texturing and optimization of
assets through next gen pipeline
·
Work closely with design team to detail the goals of the character
designs
·
Collaborate with art direction, programming, and animation
·
Iterate on the look and feel of characters while gathering feedback
from the team
Experience
·
3+ years experience in a production environment (preferably video
games)
· Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, Animation, Graphic Design, or similarly related field required
·
Proficiency with Maya, Zbrush, and equivalent modeling software
·
Advanced knowledge of 2D photo manipulation and painting software
(Photoshop)
·
Strong knowledge & understanding of human anatomy, with an eye for
accurate proportions, form, and details
·
Experience working with 3D scan data, and re-topologizing for in game
use
·
At least one shipped, large scale, 3D title (PC/Console)
·
Strong understanding of asset pipelines and agile development
environments
·
Nextgen game engine experience - Crytek, Unreal, etc.
Skills
·
Strong foundation in art fundamentals of design, light, etc.

Desire and ability to work in a self-directed work environment
