                                                     Associate Technical Artist - Optimization (Temporary)

An individual contributor that assists in the optimization of 3D prop and environment artwork for a high-profile game.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Optimize 3D level art content for better performance while preserving visual fidelity
• Work with script based lighting engine
• Report to the Lead Technical Artist

 REQUIREMENTS

• Familiarity with polygonal modeling and UV editing in Maya
• Proficient with Photoshop
• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages

• Keen ability to adapt to change, rapid iterations and revisions
• Handles constructive feedback well
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Fluency with at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
• Continuous learner
