INSTRUCTOR
(Digital Media Arts and Engineering)

Louisiana State University
Teach undergraduate or graduate
courses as they relate to programming for games, animation and visual effects
for a new Master degree in Digital Media Arts and Engineering in the College of
Engineering.
Course preparation; putting
together the building blocks for a world-class digital media cross-discipline
program; work with program director to oversee the development of curriculum,
including exit competencies from each class; participate in school activities
as it relates to the program; keep abreast of industry trends.
Required Qualifications: Master's
degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; ten years of
experience within the games, visual effects, or animation industry as a senior
level programmer; thorough knowledge of C++, game architecture, graphics
systems, animation and artificial intelligence; strong understanding of linear
algebra, related 3D mathematics, and physics. Preferred Qualifications: Prior teaching experience.
