Marketing Artist / Contract

Description

Austin based game-development studio is looking for a contract marketing artist from the Austin area to support our web-based marketing efforts and to help maintain and expand our game and community websites.

Responsibilities:
- Setup, capture and compose game screenshots.
- Create email graphics layouts. 
- Create graphic content for social media outlets and websites (page headers, icons, thumbnails, skins, widgets, avatars, wallpapers, themes, etc).
- Create graphic content for online advertising.

- Support the UI dev team as needed.

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and other dcc applications.
- Strong graphic design and painting skills.
- Technical understanding of creating art and designs for the web and email.
- Ability to work within the overall direction established by the style guide, incorporating assets provided by the game development team.
- At least 2+ years professional experience creating marketing content for games.

Education:

B.A. or equivalent degree
