UDK Programmer

About Us:

Libellum is a small group of freelancers, led by Hiram Boujaoude , the game designer who initiated the current project. 

Who we are looking for

We need a new member of the team, the main programmer, hopefully for long term employment, after an initial few months of testing the waters. We need to develop an Alpha version of the mechanics to present to the investors of the project and show them just how far this project can go. The game will be single player and programmed in UDK with only the basic tools available. Some 3dsMax scripts will probably need to be developed further down the pipeline to ease the work of transferring assets and animations to UDK. 

The programmer should be fluent in C++, UnrealScript, and Kismet. Should also have knowledge in Unreal Cascade, and developing tools in UDK for games. Personality is key: the candidate should be serious about their work and growing with the team, work on a set schedule provided by the team leader, work hard to keep the deadlines, keep a creative input, always be a team player, try to keep a sense of humor, and above all else, have a passion for making fun game mechanics. 

The job will involve a telecommute 3 to 4 times a week (negotiable), therefore, having a fast internet connection and a quiet place you can work from is a must. Extensive experience in the industry is not a must, however, this is not school. Please make sure you have all the requirements covered extensively if you will apply. Cover letter is not a must, but please send resume and links to videos showing examples of work in UDK, other game engines, scaleform menu examples, blogs or anything you have worked on to show what you are capable of. 

Interview

We will probably interview you by Skype or Google Hangout.

Pay:By contract or monthly. This is negotiable once candidate is interviewed.
