Technical Artist Generalist (In-Game Cinematics)
Description
The Blizzard In-Game Cinematics team is growing, and
needs your help. Are you a tech artist generalist, able to tackle a
ridiculously wide range of technical tasks with little introduction, armed only
with a roll of duct tape, a stick of chewing gum, and a positive attitude? Were
you once a 3D artist, but then wrote a script that was so awesome that it replaced
you? Then come join our small gang and help us tell the stories that bring the
World of Warcraft to life.
Requirements
- Model cleanup and up-rezing (Max, Maya)
- Texture cleanup and creation in the Warcraft style
- Shepherding assets into a game engine
- Game art asset management
Pluses
- Rigging (Max, Maya)
- Compositing (After Effects)
- Scripting (Maxscript, Lua)
- Motion Graphics (After Effects, Photoshop)
- Long-range archery
Portfolio requirements
- Demo reel that shows off your amazing technical art
work
